High Performance Gymnastics will be reopening Monday, July 6th. We are all set to reopen and everything is in place to help make you feel safe at every turn. Nothing is more important to us that the health and safety of our children, families and staff. We have been working hard to put together additional policies and procedures to help keep our facility as clean and safe as possible. Please see below for important procedures that will be implemented up your return.
Drop-off and Pick-up Procedures
We are strongly encouraging parents to drop off your child and pick up at the conclusion of your class or camp. We understand this may not be possible, especially for our younger children, therefore only one parent/guardian will be allowed to enter the gym and stay to observe. Our main door (door with the ramp) is where everyone will enter into the gym. To the left of the building there is a side door, that door will be used for everyone to exit the building. Part of our Gymnastics floor will be blocked off for the time being, allowing everyone to walk across to access the exit door.
Practicing Social Distancing
For parents who will be having interactions at the front desk, or staying to observe your child participate, there will be a limited number of seats in our lobby now. Each seat will be six feet apart. There will be marked spots on the floor where you are able to stand and observe. For added safety, different classes will not interact with one another.
Keeping Areas Clean
We are implementing a rigorous cleaning routine, and all gymnastics mats and surfaces will be sanitized regularly throughout the day. This will also include the lobby, bathrooms, light switches, door handles, water fountain, cubby area and party/leisure room.
As an additional means of protection, coaches will wear face coverings while instructing. Children do not need to wear a face covering. Seeing the coaches wear face coverings will be a new experience for children, so we encourage you to help familiarize your children at home with the concept before returning to Gymnastics.
Additional Healthy Practices
Our staff members will adhere to healthy practices including:
-Hand sanitizing after each class
-Providing alcohol-based hand sanitizer for children and parents
-Temperatures will be taken before the start of class or camp
High Performance Gymnastic’s number one priority remains the health and safety for everyone. We appreciate everyone's compliance with our procedures.
